Big Poker Oktober at the Bike Casino
The Bicycle Casino in California, better known simply as “The Bike”, has started their Big Poker Oktober tournament series, which will run through October 12. The main event, which starts on October 10, has a $500 buy in, is a No Limit Holdem championship event, and is boasting a $100,000 guaranteed prize pool. The preliminary events have buy ins ranging from $50 to $300 and incorporate a number of poker games, from No Limit Holdem to Omaha Eight or Better, a Seven-Card Stud tournament and a NLHE with rebuys.

Dream Week Two on Poker After Dark
Hit NBC poker TV show Poker After Dark typically has six pro poker players pay $20k of their own money to form a $120k winner take all prize, but this week the show is dropping an amateur at the table. This will be the second “Dream Match” week, where a qualifying amateur got to pick five of their favorite poker players to play against.
